For independent developers

Your project. Your server. Your data.

Building a personal catalog, tracking components, or developing a small research tool? Keep data near your application. Akmelo manages the scenario and an agent collects data on your server.

A personal tool can run regularly too

A laptop script runs only when you remember it. On your server, the agent follows its accepted schedule and stores results beside your app. This can feed personal search, a catalog, or an educational project.

Turn a task into a process

Start with a small sample. Then control the rules, frequency, and result.

Prepare a server

Choose a machine with Docker and access to the intended sources. Check resources, disk space, and backup capability.

Test a small selection

Create a source and scenario in Akmelo and assign the agent. Connect an allowed database on its side and inspect a few records.

Add a schedule

Read results from your database or local export. Monitor errors, agent updates, and source-page changes.

What gets easier

Collection, storage, and delivery become one clear workflow.

Beside your application

Your project reads prepared data from your chosen recipient without downloading each result manually.

Scheduled operation

You can close your laptop: an existing schedule keeps running on the agent server.

Practical control

Choose retention periods, database rights, and backups suited to your project.

Results stay in your system.

Use your database through a suitable connector, local files, or a handler in your environment. For private recipients, an administrator configures approved network access or an SSH tunnel.

Before starting

How should storage be arranged?

This is a managed Akmelo agent, not an independent copy of the entire platform. Definitions are created in the main application. You pay for the server separately; subscription terms and source rules still apply.

How data is separated
What should be agreed in advance?
  • Whether the project really needs a separate server
  • Resources for the database, queue, and browser if needed
  • Updates, HTTPS, and backup recovery
Is ordinary static hosting enough?

You need an environment that can run a Docker stack with persistent services. Static page hosting cannot do that.

When is cloud execution simpler?

When you do not need your own recipients or hosting and do not want to maintain a server. An agent is useful when control of infrastructure justifies its upkeep.

Test your workflow on one source.

First confirm that data reaches the intended recipient. Then add a schedule and more sources.
