Apply database structure

POST /api/v1/connections/{connection}/structure/{export}

Create the required structure in a recipient database. This modifies an external database.

Access

A Bearer API key for this workspace with write permission is required. The server also checks the owner’s permission for this resource and action. An inaccessible object is not disclosed.

Parameters

Path parameters: connection, export. Use IDs from your own installation.

Example request parameters or JSON body:

{
  "table": "products"
}

Call this path with GET first and review its statements. Applying the structure requires separate permission. Do not apply it automatically to an unfamiliar existing table.

Response 200

The example is shortened; actual responses may include more fields. Sample IDs are placeholders.

{
  "message": "Structure for products created"
}

Send the request

Set BASE to your installation URL without a trailing slash and API_KEY to a secret stored on your server. Client setup and browser JavaScript.

curl

curl --fail-with-body -X POST "$BASE/api/v1/connections/7/structure/6" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $API_KEY" \
  -H "Accept: application/json" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  --data-binary @- <<'JSON'
{
  "table": "products"
}
